How to use Scan to PDF

  1. Tap Start scanning and allow the camera. Hold the phone over the page — a green outline shows when it is found — and tap the round button. Scan as many pages as you like, then tap Done.
  2. Check each page. Retake, rotate, use the full photo, or drag the corners to crop.
  3. Pick a look and tap Save PDF. Then download, share or open it.

Questions

Do I need to install an app?

No. Vellafolio works in your phone browser. You can add it to your home screen for one-tap access.

Are my scans uploaded?

No. Photos are processed on your device and never sent to our servers.

Why does it ask for my camera?

So you can scan inside the page. The camera picture is processed on your phone and never sent anywhere. You can also choose photos you already have.

Why is the crop wrong?

Auto-crop works best with the page on a darker, plain surface in good light. You can always drag the four corners by hand.

Is it really free?

Yes. Five tasks a day are free with no watermark and no account. Paid plans with unlimited use are coming.

Where do my files go?

Nowhere. Vellafolio processes files inside your browser. They are not uploaded, stored or seen by anyone.
